My ♥ stopped at Moth.

Just a taste of what you can find at the Lot in Canal Walk. I adore Moth clothing, and am a regular at Wardrobe on Kloof, where I bought myself the most amaze brown belt. The clothes are super feminine and always on trend. *please hurry payday*

My ♥ stopped at This Is Not New.

So I found a beautiful site this morning. It's called This Is Not New, best you check it out. When I die, there will be one of the above handbags waiting for me in heaven. And if they threw in the white dress that would also be nice. The top pic is very Sarah Jessica isn't it? Looovely.

My ♥ stopped at Chica-Loca Bridal!

One of my favourite boutiques, Chica-Loca, is now doing all things bridal! If being a bride in Cape Town has taught me anything, it's that there is a SERIOUS lack of great bridal boutiques. Most bridesmaids' dresses look like something out of the 80s and unfortunately these days b-maids have WAY more rights than they used to (tis a shame really). But seriously, why not get them something chic, something they CAN actually wear again. Something from Chica-Loca.

Check out Chica Loca's website here.

My ♥ stopped at Marion and Lindie.

Calling the ghost of Frida Kahlo...

The shoes, oh the shoes!

Marion & Lindie has always been one of my faves. And it's OBVIOUS why! I recently wandered into the Cavendish store to buy a dress for my friend's wedding and honestly almost had to phone my 'sponsor' to come and drag me out before I maxed out every card I have. Literally, everything is beautiful. What I love the most is that the dresses are simple enough to wear during the day and night. Also, their famous 'wrap the material' dresses are still around, I had a panic attack when someone told me they were phasing them out. Basically these dresses have long pieces of material attached to them that you can wrap over your shoulders, under your bust to make a Grecian ensemble, or even just tie in a knot and drape. Oh the many ways you can wear a Marion and Lindie dress! Every time I buy one of their dresses, I feel like I'm investing in a timeless piece, that I know I'll be wearing in 5 year's time, how many stores can you say that about? No didn't think so.

My ♥ stopped at Country Road.

I love Country Road. In brand terms, it's so 'sure of who it is'. By this I mean, you know exactly what type of style you're going to get each time you walk in. Even the colour palette is well thought out. How cute is this little number? It looks so comfortable and the simple use of the two colours makes it super chic and almost architectural. I picked these shoes to go with it, a comfy wedge, easy to maneuver on cobblestones or other tough surfaces. There's nothing worse than wobbling along on stilettos, and looking ridiculous, I love the ease of wedges. The outfit is also dying for a chunky bracelet, which I'm sure Woolies would also have covered. Very beaut, very now, I think.

My ♥ stopped at Merchants on Long.

I entered the most amazing giveaway this morning, on the lovely Lanalou Style Blog. Aren't these Lemlem Kaftans from Merchants on Long AMAAAZINGGG? We're off to Thailand for our Honeymoon in December and I can imagine myself living in one of these. Too beautiful!

My ♥ stopped at Mr Newton.

In a perfect world I'd wear this every day.

Pink blazer, red hat, who would have thought?

Love how 1 side of the shirt hangs out. No accident me thinks.

Good golly gosh. I am in luurve with Mr Newton blog. Gorgeous! Go go go.

My ♥ stopped when I saw these teardrop earrings.

Have you noticed the shift back to teardrop earrings? They crept in slowly and now seem to be a permanent feature in the mags. The funny thing is I remember these from when I was little, being a child of the 80's. I remember big, gaudy, clip-ons that hung almost low enough to touch women's shoulder pads. And now they're back, but a lot less offensive than they used to be for some reason. I guess they work this time round because we've lost perms and oversized jackets but kept colour-blocking and tights. Funny how things come full circle.

My ♥ stopped when I saw this outfit.

To wish you a happy public holiday tomorrow, I've put together a few of my favourite things at the moment. The first is the red jacket, I absolutely have to have one this winter. I think they are so chic and can make any outfit pop. I know the Pepe Jeans winter collection will be stocking a few, and I hope to check them out and report back to you guys. The next love is gold, I've been wearing silver for so long, thinking gold looks 'cheap' but suddenly I am completely taken by it again. The House of Harlow gold (14KT) stack coin ring is gorgeous! 100 dollars but still gorgeous!

Red jacket - Vanessa Bruno
Nude top - Phillip Lim
Gold ring - House of Harlow
Feather necklace - Carole
Gold sandles - Guiseppe Zanotti
Green petal shorts - James

Have a lovely holiday tomorrow sweet readers xxx

My ♥ stopped at Roberto Cavalli "Lavanda".

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways! I adore these sunnies, especially the purple and yellow ones. They normally retail somewhere between R2500 and 'completely ridiculous' but today (and today only) you can get them for R999!

Go here to find them.

My ♥ stopped when I saw these bags.

1. Taupe/coral lock briefcase bag from Dorothy Perkins

2. Coral leather double buckle purse from Top Shop

3. Edie purse from J.Crew

4. Milly small leather shoulder bag from net-a-porter

I might be a tad obsessed with bags, can you tell?

My ♥ stopped at Mungo & Jemima.

Mungo & Jemima, one of my greatest fashion loves. I remember buying my first item, hanging it in my cupboard and treating it like a gem. And receiving hundreds of compliments because of it. This little store is amazing, not only do they stock beautiful tops, they have one of the best jewellery ranges too (I have the little blue birdie that the blonde model is wearing).

Labels stocked include I love Leroy, Take Care, Michelle Ludek, Selfi, Margot Molyneux, Unknown, Robyn Caris, Spilt Milk and swimwear by LoveWaterLove. Jewellery by Skermunkil, Collect and Peter Eastman is complimented by accessories by covetable Cape Town-based labels Hello Sailor, Missibaba and Kate & Allie.
The Mungo & Jemima customer is a discerning shopper of all ages. She understands fashion, but is not a slave to it and is looking for a quality alternative to mass produced looks of the high-street.
You'll find the store on the corner of Church and Long - you'll probably find me there too, putting my lunch break to good use :)
Beautiful pics from their website.
