Aren't these rings beautiful? I sometimes feel like chunky jewellery looks strange on me (I have very small fingers) but these rings don't look too over-the-top. They're from amerrymishap, and won't break the bank.

Today I received a mail about Collect jewellery's latest range, the Vintage Coin Collection.

I think there's is something so romantic about coins, layered in memories and intricate in design. Some people collect them or have them passed down to them. Others have memories about what certain coins meant to them at some time in their lives. Me, I remember getting R2 from my mom in junior school, I remember that this R2 could go very far, and could buy me many things at the tuck shop. Now, it's almost too little to tip a car guard. But then it was my treasure.

Collect's new range is definitely something to consider when getting someone a special gift, something sentimental yet current. I also LOVE the pocket-watch-style silver chains. 

 ''... How CUTE is this bunting necklace from etsy!? I'd like to see it with a silver chain (maybe a long silver chain). 


"This necklace is made from celluloid. It has to be worked cool, and wet. I melts at a low temperature. All the chic french costume jewelry was made out of this starting in the mid 50's. It lasts forever."

So glad I stopped by Swiss Miss this morning. I love love love these creations by Digby & Iona!


Oliver Jeffers and the folks of Digby & Iona collaborated. That’s awesome news. Together they created an incredibly adorable jewelry line for kids and kids-at-heart based on Oliver Jeffers’ children's books characters.

Today's Jewellery Heartstopper is the to-die-for Gold-Hearted range!


Colorful rope pieces, natural stones, gold, and silver, all handmade with love by me. This collection is largely inspired by art history and nature, both of which I love to explore and study.


I adore this collection! I've never seen anything like it. What I love is that the pieces seem elegant yet casual at the same time, like the kind of thing you can wear every day that someone will notice and comment on.Created by Michelle Meronek, Gold-Hearted is for the fun-loving girl, adding that extra something to an outfit. I adore the necklaces and the knotted bracelets!


Have you noticed the huge shift back to yellow gold and colour blocking in jewellery design lately? I can imagine pairing the black bracelet with a red dress, some gorgeous heels and a smoky eye. Gold-Hearted definitely gets the Heartstop stamp of approval.

Isn't this stuff amazing? I came across Thula a little while back and I'm excited to post about it. Jewellery Heartst♥pper: Collect Jewellery.

I absolutely adore Collect Jewellery, for obvious reasons! The pieces are extra feminine and handmade using traditional silversmithing techniques by owner, Julie Patterson. 

All pieces are produced in limited edition in sterling silver, vermeil gold and carefully selected gemstones. The designs draw on various inspirations: from vintage couture, fairytales, antique odds and ends to the 1930’s! - creating the COLLECT style of classical yet whimsical!

I can't decide which pieces are my favourite, it's a definite tie between the necklaces at the top and the heart ring at the bottom. I think the reason I love Collect is because the jewellery doesn't feel 'heavy', it feels lighthearted and spontaneous. The best part? It's made in my favourite city.
